Saima Hardwood Floors have a 10 year guarantee.
The guarantee covers durability of the structure and the manufacturer's surface treatment under normal wear, when the product has been installed and used according to the installation and maintenance instructions included in the hardwood floor packaging.
General terms of guarantee
Saima 10-year guarantee is valid for 1st grade Saima hard wood floor, which has been installed into private use according to the installation instructions delivered in the packaging. The 10-year guarantee is applicable to flaws resulting from faults in manufacturing of the delivered goods. Clearly faulty boards may not be installed and they will be exchanged free of charge. Karelia-Upofloor reserves the right to rectify faulty flooring or to have it rectified by a third party, or to exchange it. If the flooring is to be exchanged the manufacturer has the right to determine the way it is to be returned. The cost of the repair will be refunded only if the matter has been agreed beforehand and will cover only the floor materials and repair work, not additional expenses. Defects caused by faulty laying are not included in this guarantee.
Guarantee for the surface
Karelia-Upofloor will guarantee the durability of the manufacturer's surface treatment (varnish) for a minimum of 10 years, if the product has been laid in residential areas and in accordance with the manufacturer's care instructions included here and in the packages
of Saima. Scratches and other damages are naturally not included in the guarantee.
Structure guarantee
Karelia-Upofloor guarantees the structural durability of the product (for instance the surface slats staying fixed) at least for 10 years, when the product has been installed into private use and the floor is maintained according to instructions.
