Saima is durable
Saima hardwood floors are pre-finished at the factory with multiple layers of a UV -hardened scratch-resistant lacquer that utilises the latest nanotechnology. Saima's unique vertical veneer slat structure combines with the surface treatment substances to provide excellent protection against wear and tear. Only highly environmentally friendly, solvent-free polyacrylate lacquers are used in Saima surface treatment.
Through-dyeing in Saima Ruska, Raita and Wirkkala
The grey and brown colours of Saima products have been achieved via a unique through-dyeing method, in which the vertical veneer slat wear layer has been dyed through its entire thickness.
Structure of the Saima hardwood floor
Saima hardwood flooring is a three-layer floor with a flexible crossglued structure, which effectively prevents the natural movements of
wood that result from changes in humidity. The surface layer is 3.5-millimetre-thick vertical birch veneer and the middle layer and base veneer are made of Nordic coniferous wood. Saima Design hardwood floors have a 10-year guarantee.

Underfloor heating
Suitable also for use with underfloor heating. The maximum floor surface temperature is +27 °C and the temperature must not fluctuate by more than 5 °C in the course of any 24-hour period. More information can be found in the installation and maintenance instructions.
